Living in a smaller apartment in the city with about 10 truckloads of clothes, these hangers have become a life saver. I cannot tell you how these hangers have literally doubled my closet space. Isn't it funny how things work? The other day, I was walking past "The Nordstrom Mall" on Michigan Avenue and was lured into Sephora by an employee handing out postcards for a free gift without purchase from Stila which turned out to be a full size lip glaze! Yesterday I decided to walk around downtown and do some window shopping. Of course that led to actual shopping. While walking past Williams-Sonoma I saw the cutest cake pan I have ever seen! The cakes look like ice cream cones! Even luckier for me, they were actually giving away taste sample of the ice cream cone cakes. They were sooooo good! I actually have to friends whose birthdays are at the end of this month. So I felt a little more justified buying the mold.

Recently, I've gotten a few inquiries about eye creams. Personally, I do not have a favorite. I have tried a lot of different brands and for the most part they all seem to work the same. That being said, I'm also in my mid-twenties, so I don't have that many wrinkles or fine lines around my eyes...well not yet. The best advice I can give to anyone looking for eye creams is to make sure that VITAMIN K (sometimes listed as phytonadione) is listed as one of the ingredients. It's overcast with a chance of rain all week here in Chicago. I hate when I work so hard on a tan, only to lose it as a result of crappy days without sun! Now that every lotion company and it's mother have introduced daily moisturizers that contain self tanners, I can say that I have tried almost all of them and have decided that Dove Energy Glow Daily Moisturizer is the best one out there. As I recall, Jergens was one of the first companies to put out a product like this...it was also the first I one I tried out. Let me just tell you, it was sooooo gross that it actually kept me from trying out any other brand for fear that they would be similar. The first time I put Jergens on, I had my leg up on the toilet seat. The stench of the lotion was so horrible that I was lucky to have to toilet underneath my leg so that I could just turn my head and puke if I needed to. While Dove doesn't smell like a great perfume, it also doesn't smell that bad. I wouldn't say that it is super moisturizing, but let's be honest, the reason we would use this product is for the tanning capabilities, and for that it delivers. I have been complemented on my tan where ever I go. Although I already have a tan from laying out, Dove's lotion keeps my tan from fading and it also gives me even more color. If you've wanted to try a self tanning moisturizer, try Dove Energy Glow Daily Moisturizer.

I just found out about a new tip for fixing tired looking eyes! Gone are the days of cucumber slices. Kiwis are the new miracle food! Slice up a kiwi and place it on your eyes and it will get rid of the puffiness and make your eyes look like you just got up from a well rested night. Another benefit of kiwis over cucumbers...the price. Especially now that it is summertime, kiwis tend to be cheaper than cucumbers.
