Smashbox Tokidoki

Smashbox has a new collection available exclusively at Sephora in a limited edition run. "Smashbox cosmetics has a long history of working with artists. In fact, the entire collection is designed for the needs of the makeup artists and photographers who work on the sets of legendary Smashbox Photo Studios. This season, Smashbox is partnering with a different type of artist - the renowned illustrative artist Simone Legno, creator of Tokidoki - for a collection that is full of life, love, and magic." Tokidoki is a Japanese anime-inspired art form. And while the Tokidoki artwork on the packaging of these products is great, the colors of the make-up itself are even better. The first piece I picked up from this collection is the Smashbox Tokidoki Eyeshadow Quad in Celebrita (celebrity). Packed with baby pink shimmer, vibrant purple sheen, pearl sheen, pewter shimmer this is a much needed pick up just in time for Spring. The colors are so bright and cheerful. I love the other quad (Smashbox Tokidoki Eyeshadow Quad in Modella (model)) too, but just had to get my hands on the vibrant pink and purple shades in Celebrita. This is the perfect palette for creating a smokey eye. The pewter shimmer is mind blowing. Since this is a Smashbox product there is no need to go on about the quality and staying power of the shadows themself because that is already a given fact. As I mentioned, these are limited edition palettes that are sure to sell out, so don't wait too long. The colleciton also includes lip colors and cheek colors.
