Borba Free Samples

While writing my review post on Borba Fiber Knit products below, I discovered that Sephora is no longer carrying Borba products. A Google search led me to discover that a lot of sites are no longer carrying Borba products. Maybe there are others like me who just can't take the smell! Just kidding. This is surprising since Borba was teaming up with Tarte so frequently lately, even teaming up to bring a Today's Special Value for QVC that featured both Tarte and Borba products.

Borba.com is still up and running though. I'm glad that I went to that site because there is a free sample section! I can't believe I have never heard of this free sample offer before. While I just wrote a not so great review for the Fiber Knit products, I'm still up for trying some not so stinky Borba products. Even better, when you click the free sample section it states that you may also receive free samples from companies like Tarte! I definately am not turning down free samples from Tarte Cosmetics. I am so excited to post this next post. I must admit that I have drastically fallen behind in my self-tanning regimen. I was religious about using my Bare Escentuals Faux Tan for months, but as the Chicago winter quickly rolled in I got lazy. Afterall, I'm going to be bundled up in jeans and sweaters for months to come, who is going to see my skin. Now, I will say this, I know that beggers can't be choosers, but I'm a little disappointed that these freebies are not deluxe size samples. The last sample bag that Sephora was not deluxe size either. I hope they realize that we, the consumers, want the bigger sized samples!!! It's nice to have a deluxe sized sample so that you can use the product a least twice if not more to see if it's a product that is working for you. I also think that sometimes there's not even enough product in one of those mini sizes sample pouches to use in one application...especially in hair care products (unless you have gone Britney Spears and shaved your head). Come on Sephora! Give the customers what they want! Based on the comments and emails from this blog, it's obvious that everyone loves the bags full of deluxe sized samples.

Lately I have been hearing more and more great things about Olay. There was even a news segment on a few weeks ago that talked about a study that found that Olay was better at fighting wrinkles and the signs of aging than the much more expensive brands of moisturizers.
